Of characteristic form, the horn grip with nielloed silver mounts, the massive double-edged bladewith central ridge, and inlaid gold makers mark at the forte. Wrought of fine, twistcore damascus steel with hardened edges. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with nielloed silver suspension band.Mid-19th century. Well worn. Overall length 57.7 cm / 22 3/4". Condition III
