A well-made example, the two-piece skull with pronounced comb and roped ridge, the visor and bevor sharing a common pivot as is typical. The visor with narrow rectangular ocularia and raising stud, the bevor with multiple rectangular and circular breaths to each side. The gorget composed of a broad lame with turned edge and roped borders. Well worn. Mid-19th century. Cleaned. Height 34cm/ 13.4". Condition II
