Description
The brass hilt elaborately modeled with flowering vines, the clamshell guard wrought with the crowned Persian Shir e Khorshid crest. The straight, double-edged blade with stamped Persian mark at the forte, the leather scabbard with elaborately-modeled brass mounts en suite with the hilt. First half of the 20th century. Leather frayed and repaired.. Overall length 94 cm / 37". Condition III
