An exceptionally well-made example, the fine, hardwood stock carved in emulation of a European sporting gun, complete with checkering and engraved steel mounts, the butt plate carved of horn. The robust bow retaining its original twined cord. First half of the 20th century. Minor wear, butt plate chipped. Overall length 83 cm / 32 1/2".
