A Type 32 Ko-pattern saber, with checkered wooden grip and steel guard with integral catch, the straight single-edged blade with narrow fuller and radiused tip. In its associated steel scabbard with single suspension ring. Early 20th century. Minor wear, blade honed quite sharp. Overall length 100.6cm / 39 ??. Condition II
