A rare example of Tibetan or Bhutanese workmanship, the waisted grip of pale horn with flared pommel, mounted in iron. The characteristic handwrought, layered damascus blade straight, broad and single-edged. The scabbard with elegant iron mounts with original rayskin section at the center. 17th-19th century. Overall length 46cm / 18?.
