Earlier than typically encountered Mughal work of fine form, a massive example wrought with a heavy quadrangular armor-piercing head, fullered and intricately pierced at the base and showing an apparent intricate wootz pattern, with integral socket. 16th- 17th century. Worn. Overall length 53.5cm / 21"cm. Condition III
