Description
In old shirasaya with horn kashira, koiguchi and mekugi ana liner with brass habaki. The yoroi doshi blade with straight temperline and visible turnback with very active grain. The single-hole tang signed BISHU OSAFUNE and dated august 1394. An exceptionally thick blade wrought with a top flat at the mune, the motokasane 9.1cm / .36”. With its bag and copy of postwar registration paper. Blade dated 1394. Edge with several small nicks. Overall length 32.5cm / 12.8“ nagasa 18.1cm / 7.12” Condition II
