Description
Edo era, a set of wooden pipe case covered in polished sharkskin, the cover actually the grip of a small handforged dagger with inscribed blade, the case in fact the scabbard. With its stamped leather tobacco pouch, the clasp in the form of a fully-modeled and well-detailed geisha grimacing while attacking with drawn sword. Early 19th century. Inscription worn, leather worn. Condition III
