Officer saber with nickeled hilt with leather knot and horn grip, etched blade marked U.S. with a stand of arms amongst foliage to either side. Engraved at either forte, RCLG and marked, THE/ PETTIBONE/ BROS/ MFG. CO / CINTI. O and R.C.L.C. REPR. CO. G 1915 UNI.OF NEBR. CADETS. The nickeled scabbard struck MPBP / U & SW UNION LABEL. Dated 1915. Scabbard with areas of rust. Overall length 97.2 cm / 38 1/4?. Condition II
