An above average example for age and quality. The grip carved of a single section of ebony, with applied silver disks and alternating bands of twisted silver wire. The straight, double-edged blade with well-engraved geometrical panel. The well-tooled paneled with wrist loop intact. Mid-19th century. An example which undoubtedly saw use under the Mahdi Uprising. Overall length 29.8cm./11 ? inches. Condition II
