Description
The horn grips mounted in nielloed silver, the locket and chape on the leather-covered wooden scabbard mounted en suite, with KKB for Kuban Kazak Voisko worked on the obverse of the locket, the reverse with silver mark. The blade double-edged, with acutely tapering tip. Latter 19th century. Worn, minor dents to mounts. Overall length 48cm/ 18 7/8 inches. Condition III
