A large pair, with fine silver mounts including buttcaps, buttons, triggerguards, side plates and barrelbands, together with numerous pierced and engraved silver inlays. The quality locks inlaid with gold, the barrels showing a Turkish damascus pattern. Each in its en suite leather holster. Mid-18th century. Holsters well worn, straps lacking. Overall length 48cm./ 19 inches. Condition III
