Likely Germanic, the hilt of brass originally gilt, with ergonomic grip and P-guard struck with military designation. The lightly curved and fullered single-edged blade with shallow fuller showing areas of pitting. Latter 18th century. As found. Overall length 86cm./ 33 7/8 inches. Condition IV
