Description
The first of wood, with typical chip-carved borders and central pinwheel motif, the second of horn with faceting bearing a monogramed cap and dated 91 for 1791, the third a scoop, likewise carved of horn. All connected by a double length of rope and suspended from a leather tab with a fine brass buckle with profiled edge and a pierced trefoil motif. C. 1791. Minor wear, period repairs. Overall length of the largest horn 11cm. Condition III
