With polished horn grips and characteristic iron pommel and steel guard showing faint wootz pattern. The fine, long, broad blade of shallow curvature wrought with one broad and one narrow fuller, forged of fine Persian wootz. In its embossed leather-covered scabbard with iron mounts. Latter 18th century. Minor wear, areas of pitting to blade. Overall length 97.7cm. Condition III
