Of characteristic form, the intricately-carved ebony grip with applied profiled gilt plaques. The silver forte intricately engraved en suite, with a lengthy embossed and chased panel extending well past the forte, the heavy, single-edged blade with radiused tip. In its rare, carved wooden scabbard with long silver locket and stylus intact. Mid 19th century. Well worn overall. Overall length 32.7cm. Condition III
