Mughal work, the iron hilt of characteristic form, with worn but fine gold inlay. The long, single-edged blade wrought of intricately-patterned wootz, with distinct yelman or back edge. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard. Hilt and scabbard worn. Overall length 99.5cm. Condition III
