Of characteristic form, the crossguard and knucklebow with profiling and beading, with well-wrought cup and original wooden grip. Broad, double-edged blade of lenticular cross-section with a short fuller on either side bearing a worn Spanish inscription. 17th-18th century. Blade pitted and cleaned. Overall length 112cm. Condition III
