A high-quality example, the hardwood stock with elaborate silver fretwork mounts and furniture, the fine quality lock engraved and heavily inlaid with scrolling goldwork, the barrel inlaid en suite with gold and retained by a number of large and elaborately embossed and engraved silver mounts. Retains its rare ramrod. 18th-19th century. Worn. Overall length 52.4cm. Condition III
