A faithful representation of the Burgundian helmet which was popular throughout Europe in the 15th century. Well-wrought, the domed skull with elegant raised finial and studded border, the brim with rolled rim. Latter 19th century. Later chinstraps intact. Areas of rust. Overall height 21cm. Condition III
