A large example of classic form, the engraved brass hilt with steel ferrule and deeply-bellied, single-edged blade elaborately engraved and inlaid with brass panels and robust armor-piercing tip. In its elaborately carved wooden scabbard with iron mounts. First half of the 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 85.3cm. Condition II
