A rare type, wrought entirely of steel, the cylindrical haft with expanded, hooked tip, the pommel in the form of a fully-modeled tiger’s head, above geometrical lineal motifs representing tiger stripes. The opposing end knobbed, with jingles intact. Patina overall. 16th-17th century. Overall length 95cm. Condition III
