The bronze grip and guard entirely embellished with rocaille-work, the guard with a pair of hunting dogs setting on a stag. The robust blade curved, double-edged and fullered, with thickened thrusting tip. 17th century. Minor wear, age-toning. Overall length 37.5cm Condition III
