Late Qing Dynasty, of characteristic form, the grip with complex cord wrap, engraved mounts, handwrought blade long, straight and double-edged with central fullers and engraved dragon to forte, inlaid with brass evoking the Seven Stars. In its matching lacquered wood scabbard. 19th-20th century. Well worn, scabbard with chipping and losses. Overall length 98.2cm. Condition IV
