Description
The staghorn grip of characteristic form, pommel elaborately carved with aso and tuba motifs and set with tufts of hair. The hardwood scabbard with carved aso and tuba panels and bound with rattan. The long, broad, lightly-curved, handforged heirloom blade fullered and elaborately profiled. Beginning of the 20th century. Overall length 72.3 cm.
