The grip of staghorn, finely carved with aso motifs with intricately-woven rattan gripwrap. The hardwood scabbard carved and bound with rattan. The blade unusually robust and chisel-edged. 20th century. Minor wear, old grease on blade. Overall length 73 cm. Condition II
