Rajput work, a large example, circular, formed of thick hide in slightly domed form and lacquered a deep scarlet overall, with flowering vines and gold-lined cream borders with green and red vinework set with four brass bosses. With remains of cushion to reverse. 19th century. Well worn, losses to lacquer. Diameter 61 cm.Condition II
