Description
The mottled olive, cream and burnt umber-colored agate hilt with colored stones set in gold. The long, curved, double-edged blade with high central ridge wrought of actively-patterned wootz with pronounced armor-piercing tip. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with heavily gilded, pierced and profiled silver mounts. Early 19th century. Light wear to blade. Overall length 35.7 cm. Condition I
