Of characteristic form, carved of a single section of wood with high central boss carved in geometrical designs and a continuous ridge developing into narrow terminals. With integral grip to the reverse and incised border to either side. Retains its rattan bands throughout. Mid-19th century or earlier. Well worn. Overall length 117.5cm. Condition III
