An earlier example, the grips of horn, the mounts of engraved and nielloed silver. The robust, double-edged blade with single-offset fullers and acute tip. In its wooden scabbard covered entirely in elaborately engraved and nielloed silver involving flowering vinework. Early 19th century. Well worn. Overall length 51.4cm. Condition III
