A massive infantry example, the hardwood stock of characteristic form with iron mounts. The barrel with expanded breach and swamped muzzle, struck with a Jaipur Arsenal inventory number indicating it was deaccessioned in the 1970s. Retains a length of match cord. Mid-18th century. Light wear, part of match lever terminal lacking. Overall length 174.9cm. Condition III
