Description
A large and elaborately decorated example of characteristic form, the mounts wrought entirely of silver, heavily gilded and finely embellished with champleve enamel in 10 colors: dark green, mauve, pale blue, white, black, red, burgundy, brown, pale green, and yellow; the reverse engraved and nielloed. The long, double-edged blade triple-fullered. First half of the 20th century. Overall length 56cm. Condition II
