Description
Comprising a cased knife, fork and sharpening steel. The fork two-tined with profiling at the base, the knife blade broad and struck with a maker’s mark at the left forte. Each with en suite horn grips, the mounts of silver and pewter. The sharpening steel tapering toward the tip, the pewter and silver handle elaborately turned. In their tooled leather-covered wooden case. Early 17th century. Minor wear. Overall length 23cm. Condition III
