Description
Perhaps Danish, the horn grips with characteristic rolled pommel and massive knuckle chain. Mounted in silvered brass, including the buttons, knot ring, guard, locket, chape and suspension bands on the sharkskin-covered scabbard. The long, graceful, handforged, blade etched with vinework motifs. First quarter of the 19th century. Light wear. Overall length 97.7cm. Condition III
