Rajput work, a large example, circular, formed of thick hide in slightly domed form and lacquered a deep scarlet overall, with flowering vines and gold-lined cream borders with green and red vinework set with four brass bosses. With remains of cushion to reverse. 19th century. Well worn, losses to lacquer. Diameter 61 cm. Condition II
