A fine, robust example, the pattern-welded crescent head and haft finely and heavily overlaid in silver, engraved in geometrical floral motifs and gilded, the stepped pommel unscrews to reveal a concealed dagger. Beginning of the 19th century. Wear to gilding. Overall length 59cm. Condition III
