A rare type from Coorg, on the southwest Indian coast. The distinctive stock of dark hardwood, matchlock mechanism intact and functional. The long barrel finely inlaid with complex silver vinework for its entire length, retained to the stock with silver bands. Retains its ramrod. 18th-19th c. Worn. Overall length 159cm. Condition III
