Of characteristic hemispherical form with top spike, adjustable nasal bar, and plume tubes, embellished with engraved bands of spiral flowering vines highlighted in gold containing cartouches with elaborate gold designs, the broad borders containing Arabic inscriptions heightened with silver inlay. Retains its camail of iron and brass rings with pointed termini. Mid-19th c. Minor losses to mail. Height including camail 57.5cm. Condition II
