Description
The dark hardwood stock inlaid with finely figured, pierced and fretted iron mounts, matchlock cock and trigger intact and functional. The long octagonal barrel finely inlaid at the breech and muzzle with delicate silver vinework, retained by twisted wire bands. Tang with illegible inscription. 18th c. Well worn, barrel bands replaced. Overall length 178.3cm. Condition III
