Description
German work, the skull well-wrought, with characteristic high comb, and peaked visor and neck guard. The large earpieces inletted at the upper edge to suit the visor, the whole embellished with brass studded borders. Mid-16th century. Cleaned, nasal lacking. Overall height 32.7cm. Condition III
