Of characteristic form, carved of a single section of wood with high central boss and a continuous central ridge developing into narrow terminals. With integral grip to the reverse and incised border to either side. Retains its rattan bands throughout. Late 19th century or earlier. Well worn, minor losses. Overall length 131.5cm. Condition III
