A large example, mounted entirely in finely-engraved silver, the pommel terminating in a god’s head, with characteristic backedged blade fullered and wrought of pattern-welded damascus steel retaining its sharp edges. In its silver-covered wooden scabbard embellished en suite with the hilt. 19th century. Some wear. Overall length 69cm. Condition III
