A rare type, the waisted, hardstone grip elaborately carved, the straight, double-edged blade tapering acutely to an armor-piercing tip with chiseled central panels showing a fine, dark wootz damascus steel pattern. The all-silver scabbard elaborately embossed and chased in Ottoman baroque motifs. First half of the 18th century. Finial restored. Overall length 48cm. Condition II
