Description
Comprising four pieces: A Mughal steel head wrought with a long, broad armor-piercing tip, with a pair of expanded, profiled terminals at the base on a conical socket. The steel butt of characteristic form, the lengthy planting spike surmounted by a pair a spherical mount. A spear butt with flanged opening. An elaborately flanged and profiled butt with two flattened spherical mounts. All 17th-18th century. Well worn. Overall length of the head 46.3cm./ 18 15/64 inches. Condition III
