Description
A high quality example, finely wrought of small iron rings, variously riveted and fused, approximately 5mm in diameter, with butted brass ring borders. The elbow-length sleeves with pointed terminals. Falling to the knees, the reverse vented to facilitate riding. Retains its gilded clasps. 17th century. Very minor losses to rings. Overall length from nape to hem 72.5cm./ 28 35/64 inches. Condition II STAND NOT INCLUDED
