Description
Of classic form, finely made and highly embellished. Comprising saddle, saddle cover, breastband and forehead decoration, reins and stirrups the entire ensemble elaborately embellished overall in silvered wire embroidery, the center of the saddle pad in green leather. The breastband, headpiece, and saddle pad with tasseled borders, the stirrups of pierced and modeled brass. Late 19th-early 20th century. Overall length of the saddle pommel to cantle 48cm/ 18 7/8 inches. Condition II
