A large example with dark walnut stock elegantly inlaid overall with flowering vinework and pierced and profiled silver plaques in geometrical motifs. With locally-made flintlock mechanism and barrel. 1750-1800. See last image below of a Georgian noble posing with a quite similar pistol c. 1870.
