Of classic form, the hilt with horn grips, the guard and tangband of brass. The broad, T-section blade handwrought with evidence of pattern-welded construction, with silver-inlaid decoration including the Seal of Suleiman enclosing the invocation, MASH’ALLAH! (God’s blessing!) In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with large engraved brass. Minor wear, silver and leather rubbed. Overall length 83.6cm./ 32 ¾ inches. Condition III
