Rajput work, the hilt well chiseled in flowering vine motifs with substantial remains of gold inlay. The blade well-wrought of actively-grained wootz, bifullered and chiseled at the forte. First half of the 18th century. Well worn overall. Overall length 38.5cm. Condition III
